Search Console

Add Google Search Console metrics to crawls and let the agent query live page and search data.

Summarize

Search Console adds Google's performance data to the URLs Silkra crawls. You need a Google account with access to a property that covers the site.

Connect and pick a property

  1. Open Settings with ⌘J, then choose Connectors → Search Console.
  2. Select Connect and finish Google authorization in the browser.
  3. Return to Silkra, load the available properties, and pick the domain or URL-prefix property that covers this workspace.
  4. Turn on Available to agent.

The grant belongs to your Silkra account. The selected property belongs to this workspace, so another workspace can use a different property.

What it adds

Enabled crawls can include clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position for the last 28 days. The Search Console fields appear in the column picker only when this connection is on.

The agent can also ask Google for current URL metrics and the search queries a page or property appears for. Google may omit low-volume queries.

Pick the property carefully

A domain property such as sc-domain:example.com covers its subdomains. A URL-prefix property covers only that prefix. If the property does not cover the crawled host, Silkra cannot match the data to the workspace.

If the card says Reconnect, authorize Google again. You can keep the same property after the grant is restored.
