Change log

What moved between refreshes: added, removed, and changed pages.

Summarize

Open the title-bar diff icon to see what changed between refreshes. Before the first refresh, the empty view gives you Run a refresh. After that, each log compares one completed crawl with the version immediately before it.

Summary or Pages

Summary is the default. It rolls changes into Regressions, Structure, Content, Titles & meta, Group moves, and Other edits. Open a group, then a page, to see each field's before and after.

Pages is the flat stream: one line per URL, with the most impactful changes first.

If the refresh finished and nothing moved, the log shows Nothing changed.

Narrow the set

  • Kind chips: All, Regressions, Added, Removed, Moved groups, or Edited.
  • Any field: choose one changed field, such as title, canonical, or content.
  • Open as table: compare a selected structured field across every affected page.
  • Open comparison: appears for content changes and opens the page bodies.

Regressions are changes to status, indexability, canonical, robots, or nofollow. They sort first because they can change whether a page is fetched, indexed, or treated as intended.

On very large refreshes, the log says when it is showing only the first 5,000 changes.

Open a field table

Choose a field, then Open as table. The focused view puts Page, Before · v2, and After · v3 side by side.

Select a body-content row to open its full comparison. Use the back arrow or Esc to return to the log.

Compare page content

Expand a page whose body changed and select Compare content. Removed lines use − and added lines use +. Other changed fields stay above the body diff, so a title or canonical shift does not disappear just because the content also moved.

Use Show unchanged when you need the surrounding copy, or Hide unchanged to keep the diff short. The page picker and arrow controls step through every content-changed URL in this refresh. The left and right arrow keys do the same.

If an older page snapshot is no longer available, the comparison says so instead of reconstructing the missing content.

Step through refreshes

The picker under Change log shows the pair being compared, such as v2 → v3. Pick an older pair to review an earlier refresh. Each entry includes its added, removed, and changed counts.

The footer totals the current pair: pages added, pages removed, pages and fields changed, plus the regression count.
