Refreshing a crawl
Recrawl the same workspace, keep the old run, and read what changed.
Refresh writes the next version in this workspace. It starts from the last run's settings. You stay on the current table while it works. The new version swaps in when it is ready.
A different site, or a totally different scope, is a new workspace. ⌘N starts a fresh crawl. That is not a refresh.
Run a refresh
Open the version menu in the title bar and choose Refresh. Confirm when it asks. Run it when you expect the site to have moved: a deploy you made, or a change you already know about. Right after the first crawl it is rarely useful.
The new version is v2, then v3, and so on. The dropdown marks the newest run as Latest. Older rows show the date. The agent reads whichever version is active.
Filters and column layout carry over when the new version lands. You can switch back to the previous run without deleting it.
There is no cancel on a background refresh. Keep working on the version you already have until the new one is ready.
The first crawl has no change log. After the first refresh, the title-bar diff icon opens it.
