Topic clusters
Read cluster fit, move between related topics, and take a focused group back to the table.
Topics is the default map view. At the overview, color separates one cluster from another. Zoom into a cluster and color intensity changes job: stronger color means a tighter fit to that topic.
Read the fit legend
| Fit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Core | Among the strongest fits in this cluster |
| Related | Clearly belongs, but is not at the center |
| Peripheral | Connected to the topic more loosely |
| Misfit | A weak fit worth checking |
| Outlier | The weakest fit. It may belong somewhere else |
Click a fit in the legend to keep those pages clear and dim the rest. The pages stay in the cluster; this is a reading filter, not an exclusion.
Open one page
Click a page tile inside the cluster. The inspector opens on Group fit with its fit, rank in the group, nearest neighbor, overlaps, and any alternate group worth checking.
Use this when a page looks out of place. Fit is evidence about its neighbors, not a verdict on page quality.
Move between topics
Related lists up to three nearby clusters. Pick one to move there without returning to the full overview.
Use Groups from the overview to hide clusters you do not need right now. Ungrouped opens pages that did not land in a topical group.
Check overlap
When Silkra finds overlapping intent inside a cluster, Overlap appears in the legend. Select it to isolate the flagged pages. Hover one to draw its connection to the other page or pages involved.
HTTP errors and overlap warnings can override the normal topic color so they do not disappear inside the fit scale.
Take the group to the table
The filter-to-table control opens the crawl table with this semantic group applied. If a fit is selected in the legend, that fit carries over too. Other table filters stay in place.
