DataForSEO adds external URL and domain metrics to agent research. Calls spend credits from your DataForSEO account.

Connect your API credentials

  1. Open the DataForSEO dashboard and find API Access.
  2. Copy the API login and password.
  3. In Silkra, open Settings → Connectors → DataForSEO.
  4. Enter both values, connect, and keep Available to agent on for this workspace.

The API password is sent to the Silkra API for safekeeping. It is not kept in the desktop app.

What the agent can ask

The connection can return organic keywords, estimated traffic, and backlink summaries for a URL. Ask for those signals in the context of the crawl; the agent activates DataForSEO only when the request needs it.

This does not add permanent DataForSEO columns to the crawl table. It is live research evidence used in the agent reply.

If the connection fails, verify that you used the API credentials from API Access, not the password you use to sign in to the dashboard.
