silkra

Command bar

Narrow the crawl table by field, by a plain-language question, or by meaning.

Summarize

The command bar sits on the crawl table. ⌘K puts you in it. What you type picks the mode: a leading slash is an exact filter, @ is meaning, and anything else is a question Silkra tries to turn into chips.

Exact filters

Start with / when you already know the field.

  • /statusCode:404: only those rows
  • /title:pricing: title contains pricing
  • /h1:!: empty H1
  • /links-to:/pricing: pages that link to that path

Matches become chips under the bar. Click a chip to turn it off. ⌘⌫ clears all of them. You can filter a column that is not on screen. If the chip would be hard to read, Silkra may show that column.

Type a normal question with no slash and no @. Silkra compiles it into the same chips. It does not write an answer.

Try "show pages with broken internal links." You get filters you can edit, not a paragraph about links.

If the question is ambiguous, you get a few interpretations instead of a guess. Recents can replay a search that already compiled.

This one is on paid plans. On free, the bar still takes the question and shows the upgrade instead of building chips.

Search by meaning

Start with @ when you care about what the page is about, not a field value. Type @pages that feel like a comparison guide. Silkra embeds that on this machine, ranks passages in the crawl, and narrows the table to the URLs that match.

An empty result means nothing was close. It does not mean the crawl has no pages.

Use @ for meaning. Use / when you know the field. Ask the agent in chat if you would rather say it in a sentence and have the chips appear.
