Semantic map

Read the semantic treemap, switch layers, zoom into clusters, and filter pages directly on the map.

What it is

The semantic map is a treemap of your crawl grouped by topic. Each colored region is a semantic cluster. Tile size reflects main content volume on that URL. Clusters are built from on-device embeddings after the intelligence pipeline completes.

When it's available

Switch to Map from the view switcher in the title bar after intelligence finishes. During a live crawl, the map may show provisional groups before labeled clusters are ready.

Reading tiles

At the overview level, each cluster has its own color. Larger tiles mean more content on that page. HTTP errors and cannibalization flags can override normal coloring on affected cells.

Topics layer

Default layer. At cluster zoom, tile intensity shows semantic fit within the group. Use the fit legend to filter.

FitMeaning
CoreStrongest semantic fit to the cluster
RelatedClose fit
PeripheralLooser fit
MisfitWeak fit
OutlierWeakest fit — may not belong in the group

Linking layer

Switch to Linking from the map toolbar. Use the legend to filter by link status.

StatusMeaning
Well-connectedStrong intra-group link connectivity
ModerateSome connections within the group
WeakFew connections within the group
IsolatedNo meaningful intra-group links

While zoomed into a cluster, open Related to jump to semantically similar groups elsewhere on the map.

Filters on the map

Active table filters spotlight matching pages and dim the rest. An active issue filter uses the same rule as the crawl table — affected pages highlight, others dim. Filter chips in the map toolbar show what's active; click X on a chip to clear.

Jump to table or inspector

Use the filter-to-table action while zoomed into a cluster to open the crawl table scoped to that group (including any active legend filter). Click a page tile to open it in the inspector.

Issue overlay

Apply an issue from the command bar issue menu to color affected pages on the map. This uses the same filter as the crawl table.
