Founding Marketer

Silkra is built by an SEO, for SEOs, at a moment when the job is being rewritten. You would own how we explain that shift, and make sure the people living it hear about a tool made for them.

Why we're building this

I have spent my whole career in SEO, and this is the most exciting stretch I have seen. Search is splitting in two: people still search Google, and they also ask ChatGPT and other LLMs, or read AI Overviews, that pull from the web for them. The fundamentals did not go anywhere. A page still has to render, be found, and say one clear thing. But the work around them is changing fast, and the tools have not caught up. I am building Silkra because SEOs deserve better than duct-taped spreadsheets, and because this is the moment to put technical SEO, semantic data, and AI on the same crawl, working from the same evidence.

SEOs are being asked brand new questions: why were we not cited, what does a model actually read, is this still a job. People are anxious, and they deserve clear, honest answers more than another launch post. I want someone who gets fired up about this and helps SEOs see how much opportunity is in it, with Silkra as the tool that makes it real.

What you'd own

  • Positioning: how we describe technical SEO, semantic data, and AI together, in plain words practitioners trust
  • Field notes, docs-adjacent content, and launches that people in the industry actually read and share
  • The channels SEOs already use, like communities, newsletters, and social, and finding the ones we have not tried
  • A feedback loop from the field back into what we build

What we're looking for

  • You know the SEO audience, ideally as a practitioner, or you have sold to technical users before
  • You know how to work the algorithms, on social, search, and communities, to get a product in front of the ideal users, and you can show examples
  • You can turn technical SEO topics into content that is digestible and exciting, without dumbing it down or losing the specifics
  • You write clearly, with specifics instead of adjectives
  • Comfortable measuring what works and cutting what does not
  • You want to build the playbook, not follow one, and you have a view on where SEO is headed
  • You want to partner with the founder from the ground floor, roll up your sleeves, and help build something you can own a piece of

Compensation

We are young and growing, and we have a lot to offer. We will talk about compensation directly with you, based on the role and what you bring, rather than post a number here. We hope you understand. Let's have a chat.
